Mitravelas winery participated in the Map of Tastes exhibition in Thessaloniki. There was the first official presentation of the new Emigré (Assyrtiko-Aidani).
The feedback was excellent. Of course, the winery participated with the entire range of wines.

All set and the harvest starts immediately with sunny days.
The harvest is for every wine producer, the most defining moment of the year. It hides surprises but also difficulties. 2 of our 3 Nemea PDO wines, participate for today's anniversary (25/03/1821) in the wine list that Mr. Georgopoulos singled out and presents them under an excellent idea. As he typically mentions, this is a list of very good wines that have even a small story behind them. We are happy for our Nemea's that are taking part and at the same time we are celebrating together with the National anniversary, the first officially recorded vines of the family in 1828 in documents of Kapodistrias.

We would like to share this special honor of global distinction with you: At the International Competition DECANTER World Wine Awards 2017 and among more than 17.200 different wines from all over the world that have been judged, the wine OLD VINEYARDS 2014 (Old Vines) has won a Platinum medal with 95/100 points and has been awarded as the “Best Greek Red Wine”.
